SDR Receiver: Software Defined Radio for AM and FM Signals
SDR Receiver is a Software Defined Radio (SDR) application designed to demodulate and play AM and FM signals received by RTL-SDR, Airspy HF+, or SDRplay radios. It requires a host computer and a radio, which are not included and need to be separately installed and configured. The program streams data from free and open-source server applications like rtl_tcp, hfp_tcp, or rsp_tcp.
With SDR Receiver, users can easily listen to various communications such as aircraft, amateur repeaters, VHF handhelds, police and fire departments, NOAA weather reports, and commercial broadcasts. The software offers features like customizable station lists, export/import options, adjustable squelch, LNA gain adjustments, audio filters, IQ offset selection, and signal strength indicators. Additionally, it supports multiple sampling rates, AirPlay audio output, streaming to multiple devices, and VoiceOver accessibility.
